Coin Flipper

Settle debates and make quick decisions with our interactive Online Coin Flipper. Featuring a beautiful 3D flipping animation, this tool provides a truly random Heads or Tails result using your browser's native math generation. It automatically tracks your session statistics, counting total flips, heads, and tails. Everything is processed locally, ensuring instant results with no server delays. Perfect for games, sports, or when you just can't decide. Beyond a single toss, a batch mode flips the coin many times in one go and reports the heads-to-tails ratio as a list, table, or summary. You can also adjust the coin's bias away from 50/50, relabel the two faces, and pick from several coin designs, which makes it useful for showing how probability drifts once the odds are no longer even.

Questions People Ask

Honest answers about how this works.

Is the coin flip truly 50/50?

Great question. At the default setting each flip compares a fresh random number against a 50% threshold, so Heads and Tails are equally likely on every single toss, independent of what came before. Nothing carries over between flips: a run of heads does not make tails due on the next one.

Do my flip results leave the browser?

No. Each flip is decided by random math running in your browser, and the heads and tails counters live only in the page. Nothing is sent to a server or saved after you leave, so you can flip away on a shared machine without leaving a record.

Can I make the coin unfair on purpose?

Yes. The bias slider sets the exact percentage chance of landing heads, so 70% gives you heads about seven flips in ten on average. Set it back to 50 for a perfectly even coin and the session statistics update as you go.
