Will the resulting file have editable shapes?
The converter preserves high-fidelity vector graphics and text. While complex PDF paths are converted to Visio vectors, they may not behave like native 'SmartShapes' with automatic connection points.
Can I really convert protected PDFs?
Only unprotected PDFs or PDFs for which you have the password can be converted. Please ensure your files are accessible before uploading.
Does the output open in normal Visio?
Yes. The converter produces a standard .vsdx package, the Open Packaging format that Visio 2013 and later, Visio for the web, and editors such as draw.io and LibreOffice Draw open directly. Page size is preconfigured on the sheet, and the file keeps your original name for easy tracking.
