Does it support numbers?
Yes. Numeric mode reads the number in each line and sorts by its value, so 2 comes before 10 rather than after it. Lines without numbers fall to the end in the order they were found in your original list.
Does my list leave the browser?
No. All sorting happens with local JavaScript in your browser. Keyword lists, employee names, and internal data are never uploaded or stored, and the sorted result is ready the moment you choose an option, with no server round trip involved.
Does sorting change the contents of each line?
No. The sorter only reorders whole lines; text inside each line, including spacing and punctuation, is left exactly as you pasted it. Optional trimming can strip leading and trailing spaces, but that is a separate setting you control yourself at any time.
Why is my list only partly sorted?
Mixed line endings, blank lines, or leading spaces often confuse plain alphabetical order. Enable whitespace trimming and empty line removal before sorting, then check whether hidden characters are pasted at the start of lines that seem out of place in the result.
