Does rotation affect image quality?
Honestly? No, we only modify the orientation flag of the pages. Your pixels and vector paths remain untouched and perfect, so a rotated page is exactly as sharp as the original with no second round of compression anywhere in the pipeline.
Can I rotate different pages in different directions?
Yes. Every thumbnail has its own clockwise and counter-clockwise controls, so one page can go 90 degrees clockwise while another goes 180 degrees the other way. Rotate All simply applies the same delta to every page at once, and each adjustment is tracked until you save.
Will the rotation stick after I reopen the file?
Yes. On save the tool combines your adjustments with the rotation already recorded in the PDF's page dictionaries and writes the result into the downloaded file. Any PDF reader, printer, or upload portal will then display the pages in the corrected orientation without extra steps.
