Is there any a limit to how many pages I can remove?
Short answer: No, you can remove as many pages as you like, as long as at least one page remains in the document. There is no cap tied to page count or file size; large decks simply take a moment longer to render their thumbnails before you start selecting.
Will removing pages reduce the file size?
Yes, and often dramatically. Because the new PDF is rebuilt from only the pages you kept, everything belonging to the deleted pages, images, annotations, and attachments, is left behind entirely. The exported file usually weighs close to the kept pages' share of the original document.
Do the remaining pages change in any way?
No. Each kept page is copied into the new file at the structural level rather than being rendered or flattened, so fonts, vector graphics, links, and annotations stay exactly as they were. Only the page order's membership changes; nothing is rasterized.
Is my document uploaded anywhere?
No. PDF.js renders the thumbnails on a local canvas and pdf-lib rebuilds the output, all inside your tab. Your file is never uploaded, stored, or sent to a server, which makes the tool safe for contracts, medical records, and other sensitive paperwork.
