Is my signature stored on a server?
No. Typing, drawing, erasing, and font selection all happen inside your browser on a local canvas, and the PNG is produced with a canvas data URL call. Nothing about your signature is uploaded, logged, or retained after you close the tab, which is why the tool still works once the page has loaded.
How exactly do I make the background transparent?
The Signature Generator exports on a clear canvas by default, so leaving the background color unset already gives you transparency. If you have picked a fill color, clear it again before downloading. The result arrives as signature.png with an alpha channel, ready to place over dark or light headers without a visible white box around it.
Can I erase part of a drawn signature?
Yes. Draw mode pairs the pen with an eraser tool and a clear control, so you can fix loops and tails without redrawing the whole thing. Colors and brush thickness apply to both modes, and the canvas never leaves your browser, so unreleased or personal signatures stay private.
