Our Screen Capture tool leverages native browser APIs to securely let you take high-resolution screenshots of your monitor, a specific application window, or a specific browser tab. Processing is handled securely within your local browser memory. After you pick a source, the live feed appears with a countdown while the browser freezes the video frame onto a canvas at the display's native resolution — the same pixels your source stream provides, not a downscaled thumbnail. Everything stays on your device, and when you are ready you export as a lossless PNG, or as a JPEG or WebP at 95% quality, with the file named after the moment it was captured.

Is my screen being recorded or sent to a server?
Honestly? Absolutely not. The tool asks for permission to 'share' the screen simply to draw a single frame to an invisible, local HTML canvas element. Nothing is ever uploaded.
Can I really capture a scrolling page?
Native browser APIs currently only support capturing the visible viewport. If you need a full-page scroll screenshot, you may still need a dedicated browser extension.
What resolution will my screenshot be?
The capture is drawn at the native resolution of the source you selected — a 1920×1080 tab produces a 1920×1080 image, and the full-screen or window sources follow the display's current scale. Nothing is downsampled during capture. If you pick JPEG or WebP, the file is saved at 95% quality to keep that resolution crisp while trimming size.
