Are the frames realistic?
Short answer: Yes. Each frame is built to accurate device aspect ratios with correct bezel proportions, camera cutouts, and corner radii, and a shadow plus reflection layer sits under the hardware. Your screenshot is transformed onto the screen surface with a perspective tilt, so it reads as a photograph of a real device.
Can I really use custom devices?
Not from inside the tool yet. The library covers thirteen popular frames — flagship phones, laptops, a desktop display, a tablet, and a watch — chosen to cover most presentation needs. If your product lives on a device we do not ship, send us the model you need and we will consider adding it.
What file format should I export?
Choose PNG when the background is transparent or when you want lossless edges around the device; choose JPEG for photographic gradient backgrounds, since it renders at 98% quality and produces a much smaller file. The download arrives as imgira-3d-mockup.png or .jpg, ready to attach.
