Does this affect image quality?
Visually, it does not. JPEG and WebP files are re-encoded at quality 95 and PNG files are re-encoded losslessly, so every metadata block is removed while the image looks identical to the original. The resulting file is a fresh stream with no header, maker-note, or thumbnail-chunk data.
Is it safe for professional use?
Yes, stripping EXIF is a standard practice for many professional photographers before publishing work to protect their equipment info and locations.
Is my photo sent to a server?
