Our text extractor parses every slide, including speaker notes and text boxes, to provide a clean, structured document of your presentation's narrative. Content is grouped by slide with the slide number as a heading, and placeholders are read in their on-slide reading order, so headings, bullets, and captions come out in the sequence an audience would hear them. Tables are extracted cell by cell, and text inside grouped shapes and SmartArt is included. Text embedded inside images is not read, since the tool does not run OCR, but charts keep their labels and data point text. Extraction happens locally in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.

Does it extract text from images?
Currently, the tool extracts encoded text from slides. It does not perform OCR on images contained within the slides.
Does it keep the slide structure?
Yes. Output is grouped under each slide number, with speaker notes separated from on-slide text, so you can follow the deck's flow. Tables come out row by row, and bullet indentation is preserved as plain list markers in the downloaded document.
Is my presentation uploaded for extraction?
No. The file is parsed in your browser and the text stays in local memory until you copy or download it. Training material, legal decks, and unreleased product plans never leave your device during extraction, and nothing is cached on a server.
Can I exclude speaker notes?
Yes. A toggle lets you include or skip speaker notes, and you can also choose whether tables are flattened into rows. The preview updates immediately, so you can confirm exactly what will be copied before you export it as text or Word.
