Is the trace an exact copy of my image?
Tracing is approximate. The engine fits vector paths to detected color regions, so gradients, soft shadows, and tiny details shift slightly and photos gain visible banding. Flat art, logos, icons, and illustrations with a limited palette convert cleanly and stay sharp at any size, which is where this tool shines.
